Cyberpunk 2077

You see that logo... And potential life time wallpaper... What else do you need in order to feel the hype?
I know I don't need much when it comes to this stuff... XD

It may be too soon to know for sure... But this game web page, wallpapers, behind the scene, and trailer are beyond awesome. I did not play the original game "Cyberpunk 2020" and believe me, I'm already banging my head with the keyboard. Even though is pen and paper.
I have a good feeling about this.
Cyberpunk 2020 art:

Cyberpunk 2077 has a release date somewhere around 2015.

Nice city design:

Punks... I'm glad they are including this classy touch. :D

Yeah, I know what you're thinking... Don't tell me you wouldn't kill for one of these!

And really nice logo/walls designs.

Of course there's a lot more on the web,  you can check it out in these links:
If you want HD wallpapers, just go inside http://cyberpunk.net/
Here there's Even more on game design and behind the scenes!
I sincerely hope the hype doesn't kill this one.

Enjoy!

CYPHER - Cyberpunk text adventure

Now's the turn of:

It's been a while since I didn't truly enjoy a text adventure game on any platform.
Let alone to say a cyberpunk one... But when this game came out, I was just blown away.
I have to say that I kinda fell into it, just by pure chance. I was somewhere else, nothing to do with the topic, and I don't even remember how I got to it or what senseless link combination I followed (probably geek stuff I guess he he). I new somehow I would have fallen into it anyway, it was just matter of time. This things just don't stay hidden.

And what a surprise!
At first I didn't know what to expect, but after a few minutes checking the web page, which is awesome, the art in it was just as face melting as the web design, and of course it was pure classic 1980's cyberpunk to the bone. And to raise the bet, it was made by indie game developers.
The Cabrera's Brothers. Javier and Carlos. Actually the story is pretty funny, because after exchanging some Facebook messages happened to be Argentinians, just country neighbors and pretty much culture alike! (I had no clue, and would've guessed anything but that)

The game has astonishing art and effects... The audio files such as music or FX are so nice,  both in quality and in composition that when you mix them with Carlos art and Javier story, it just carries you away from your seat, and drops you under the rain in NeoSushi city. You even see raindrops on your screen. Awesome!
I guess you can say that NeoSushi is pretty much a "BladeRunner" city style.

NeoSushi: My kind of town!
And our hero, Dogeron

TecNoir: Obvious reference and such a cozy place... right?

Melina's booth... Obvious reference and... yes, censored. XD

As you see, the game is filled with 80's and 90's easters  Which is probably the feature I like the most in games... Is such a shame that games nowadays have lost that extra magic.
Where was I?
Oh Yeah, I'm not telling you the easters, buy the game, check them all. Every single one is great.

Another great thing is the UI made by Cabrera's team. As the game is a text one, you wouldn't even think of having any more graphics than a bunch of pixelated text on your screen.
But guess what, you couldn't be more wrong.

You have all your inventory items at sight and as you interact through your text with them, you may be able to see variations in movement, sound, light or even open them, mix them, waste them, etc.
This feature is just crazy! So basic, yet so awesome and not made before (At least not exploited).

The UI:

I'll just leave this here now... http://www.cabrerabrothers.com/  ha ha.

Way to go, two thumbs up for Cabrera's Brother for reviving the text game genre and for doing it in such an incredible fashion.

Ghost Whisperer - A brush with death

I'd like to share a few screenshots from a game where I took part making all the scenes lighting and rendering. Two colleges from Estudioegg videogames made all the textures and models.
The game was coded by Mystery Studio. They also made all illustrations.
It was made for Legacy games in 2010/11 (sadly Mystery studio is no more)

The game is called Ghost Whisperer - a Brush with death.
We also made the second part, it was supposed to come out a few months later. I'm not sure the current status of that game.

I chose a few... The ones I like the most... But if you google I'm sure you'll find a lot more.
I hope you like them!

Intro

Hi there,

I guess you already noticed my late arrival to the blog world hehehe.
I don't know why this just developed this way... I've always read blogs from all around the world and from a lot of people too. But somehow I wasn't really attracted to this until tonight. I can't explain, just didn't happen, you know.

Anyway.

To share with all bloggers around, I chose this name exactly for that meaning. I'm an Internet NightFlyer myself and the name came from a cd I bougth a few years back, It's called Navigator - Music for the internet nightflyers... The cd is great, and it kept me going on forever on those "endless surfing the web" nights.

I'll be blogging about my recent work in the video game industry as a developer, and of course I'll use this to share my studio developments as any ideas or "not so good" or "logical because of the late hour" thinking it comes up hehe.

And so, the flying nights begin!
